What is CochraneBusiness.com?
 
CochraneBusiness.com is created and managed by BlindDrop Design Inc., a local, long-standing Creative Media Development company that has been incorporated since 2001 and has provided Web development and graphic design services to many Cochrane businesses and organizations over the years. CochraneBusiness.com is an expansion of these services to fill a long felt need for an online directory for ALL Cochrane businesses and organizations.
 
 
Who is allowed to have listings in CochraneBusiness.com?
 
Our listings are limited to any business or organization that meets at least one of the following criteria:
  1. Operates business in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada.
  2. Is an active member of the Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce
  3. Has a valid Town of Cochrane Business License
  4. Has a physical/post office address in Cochrane, Alberta
  5. Offers services directly to Cochrane, Alberta (e.g. Calgary Businesses servicing Cochrane)  
BlindDrop Design Inc. & CochraneBusiness.com reserves the right to remove listings, banners, events, etc. at any time from its database that do not comply with the above criteria.  
 
How did you gather your listings?

We manually researched and gathered our database of listings from public records and advertisements. We chose to build the database first so we could immediately provide value to the Cochrane Community, its businesses and organizations. Our listings are based upon the industry standard of categorization. From there, the listings are self-published by new businesses via the sign up area.

SIGN UP & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
 
How do I sign up or get access to my company's/organization's listings account?
  1. Before signing up, please search our database for your business or organization's listing. If you find your listing and need access, please contact us via email or phone.
  2. Once we have confirmed you as the rightful contact of the listing, we will provide you with your unique username and password for signing into your account.
  3. If you cannot find your listing, please contact us or signup for your new free account. Please note: Duplicate accounts will be automatically deleted from our database, so if you'd like to confirm whether or not we've got your listing on file, please contact us prior to sign up. 
 
How do I upgrade my account with more features?
  1. First, you need access (see question above)
  2. Once you have access, you can upgrade and update your account as you wish.
 

BANNERS

 
Can I JUST order banners, or add an event without a listing?
 
You will need to go through the signup process to create an account before you can order banners.
 
 
Can I create my own banner?
  1. Yes, you can create your own banner or have it created for you by your designer. However, we provide banner design as part of our services to ensure the banners remain as high quality. CochraneBusiness.com and BlindDrop Design Inc. reserve the right to refuse or alter banners at our discretion to maintain the set standards of design and integrity of CochraneBusiness.com.   
 
PAYMENT TERMS & METHODS
 
What are your payment terms?
  1. All payments must be paid in full prior to activation of any paid services on CochraneBusiness.com.
  2. All paid listings accounts are set in 6 month terms.
  3. Any non-payment of services will result in suspension or removal of those services until payment has been levied.
  4. There are currently no refunds or rainchecks offered for any services offered on CochraneBusiness.com. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  5. Any special offers presented by BlindDrop Design Inc., CochraneBusiness.com or any third-party advertiser are subject to the terms and conditions set by the offer and participating merchant. 
 
 
What Payment methods does CochraneBusiness.com accept?
  1. Online via PayPal (payable to communicate@blinddrop.com)
  2. Cheque by mail or courier
  3. Visa/MC by phone (please select payment by cheque when processing your order, then call in with your credit card information).
  4. Debit/Credit Card machine (additional charges may apply).
 
 
What happens if I choose to pay by cheque or Credit Card by telephone?
  1. Your account will be created and will remain "pending" until we have received your payment.
  2. Once payment is received in full for the service term, we will activate these services on your account.
